Message Title: SALVATION

There's something I want to explain, because I know someone needs to hear this

Acts 4:12 (NKJV)  “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

 

What's to be saved?

Is to be rescued from a certain danger, is not necessarily a Christian jargon, the word to be saved can be used by anybody, if someone finds you drowning in water and he comes and throws a rope and you catch it then he pulls you out of the water you won't think twice you'll just say thank you, you've saved my life. He rescued you from a danger. So he saved your life. So to be saved is not that hard to explain.

 

Now when we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and we tell people be saved. What do we mean?

It means they're in danger. What kind of danger?

The wages of sin is death

Anybody who's still a sinner is dead spiritually. They're separated from God, the bible says in John 3:16- “Because he has not believed in the name of only begotten son of God. He who has not believed he has been already 18 condemned, not future, now, already condemned.”

 

Why is he already condemned?

Because John 3:18 (NKJV) “ He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

 

So people who have not believed they're under condemnation, so when we preach to them and they accept we save them from that condemnation.

 

Acts 4:12 (NKJV) “ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

 

Salvation isn't in the name of Apostle Paul/prophet Isaiah/Apostle Peter, there's no Apostle or prophet that can give you salvation. Only in the name of Jesus.  Under heaven/here in this world whoever tells you there's any other salvation somewhere they're big time liars.

 

The bible says no other name under heaven except the name of Jesus. Whoever doesn't believe in the name of Jesus he's under condemnation, they're already condemned, they're just waiting and they start reaping the condemnation while they're still here.

If you don't have that message you don't have the gospel.

People are under condemnation that's why they suffer, that's why they don't have direction, but when you accept Jesus you're saved/rescued from the condemnation. To be saved is to be rescued.

 

Without Jesus, nobody has a future

Somewhere the Quran teaches they call Jesus, prophet Issa. That prophet Issa He's the one who'll come to judge the world, now if you don't believe in the Judge who'll judge, and you’re insulting him, what are you expecting?

 

There's no other name. In the name of Jesus we can rebuke demons/pain and it'll hear without panadol. Pain that was there for 4 years it heard, obey and left immediately.

 

If you hide that Name there's no salvation in this world

“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2Corinthians6:2 KJV

When is salvation time? Now is the time of salvation, not in the evening. Every time you hear the gospel that's salvation time. Whoever tells you when you die there's a chance you can be saved is lying to you, after a human being dies there's nothing you can change its over if you were late you're just late.

 

Hebrews 9:27 (NKJV) “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,”

 After death judgment, not prayers. Whoever is telling, "You still have time", do you know until when you are going to live? You may not have another chance, this could be the only chance you've in your life. After death nobody get saved it's just too late.

 

If you refuse to believe, you don't have any other way of salvation. It's only the name of Jesus Christ. Do you know why? Nobody died on the cross for your sins, it's only Jesus. All others are announcing their religions but no one went and said I'm taking John's punishment and I'm taking his punishment on the cross so that he can be free, no one did that only Jesus did.

 

There's no free salvation. I'll explain to you;

1. God is a righteous God, a Holy God, which means He hates sin and every sin He must punish. Every sin and every sinner must be judged.

 

2. God is love and through his love He's so gracious to sinner He doesn't want them to be judged because He loves everyone. What will He do? He's righteous, He wants to judge a sinner but He's a loving God, He's so compassionate He doesn't want the sinner to be judged.

The love of God says no don't kill/judge him please let him go. But the justice of God says no he has sinned he must die for his sins.

Now what do you do? So what God did so that He's a fair God? The demand of the righteousness of God is that a sinner must be judged but the love demands that he must be set free. So the love of God caused Him to give His son Jesus Christ to come and to be crucified to die on the cross so that the sins of the sinner are already punished through Jesus.

 

Now what the sinner needs to do is to identify with Jesus/is to accept Jesus and his punishment would be considered that it is already done.

But if the sinner will refuse to identify with Jesus he remains with his sins and therefore he'll suffer the judgment. But if he says "Jesus may you please pay for my sins and take my punishment" immediately God will look unto him and say now you're free, why? Because his sins now they've been put on Jesus and Jesus has already paid a punishment for those sins.

 

That's the foundation of the gospel. That's why you can't be saved by any other name because there's no other name that paid for your sins. If you refuse the name of Jesus you've to be judged, why? Because He's the only one who took the punishment of your sins.

 

People have a problem when they hear Jesus is the son of God. They think in a human form too much. How can God have a son? Is he a human being? To have a son you don't have to sleep with a woman. God spoke a word and that word went entered in Mary's womb and created Jesus inside there.

If your god can not have a son without a wife then he's a weak god, ours is so powerful, He only spoke. God's too big you're trying to compare Him with your thinking that's why you can't understand.

This is the Gospel! And it is an order from Jesus that we preach it, so preaching gospel isn't a suggestion, it's an order. Because this isn't the Democratic Republic of God, it's the kingdom of God. Jesus said who's the king of Kings He said “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”Mark 16:15(KJV)

 

 

 

Say this prayer if you want to give your life to Jesus “Dear Lord Jesus I come before you today and I repent for all my sins, please forgive me and cleanse me from everyone of them. Today welcome you into my life, I believe you came and died for my sins and I confess you as my lord and savior now and forever. In your Name I pray, amen.
